Description Sundew ‘Capillaris x Spathulata’ (Drosera)
The Sundew ‘Capillaris x Spathulata’ (Drosera): got its distinctive name because of its unique appearance. This hybrid between two almost identical species is quite small and has a very beautiful dark red colour. These nectar droplets resemble (in the sun) dewdrops; hence the name “Sundew”. The droplets of the Drosera attract insects, which try to take a bite or sip, but remain stuck to the droplets.
This species occurs in North America and South America (a cross between two species). The species are very similar, but require slightly different care. However, this cross makes it easier to care for this species.
IMPORTANT: be quick, because we have a limited stock of this species.
