Description Sundew (Aliciae)
The sundew (Drosera): is named after the impressive leaves of the plant. The sundew namely has small leaves with nectar drops on them. The drops look like morning dew, hence the name 'Sundew'. The drops on the leaves smell of nectar, something that is irresistible to insects. When an insect drinks from one of these drops, the insect sticks and the leaf rolls over. The insect is then digested. The sundew, with its beautiful drop-covered leaves, is a special and unique plant. The sundew (Drosera Alicae) is also one of the only carnivorous plants that catch mosquitoes.
