Description Pinguicula
The butterwort (Pinguicula Tina): The fat leaf is an 'innocent-looking' plant, but it belongs to the carnivorous plant family. The butterbur has large 'fatty' leaves and a beautiful purple flower. The carnivorous plant (like all carnivorous plants) uses its leaves to lure, catch and digest prey. Small sticky drops form on the leaves of the Pinguicula. Once stuck to the leaf, the insect will not come off again. The butterwort is great fun to have around the house and catches multiple insects for you.
Dimensions: (ø 8,5 cm x ↕ 10-15 cm including flower)
- Note: We cut off the flower in connection with transport. It breaks off in 9 out of 10 cases during transport. But with proper care, many new flowers will soon grow.
