Looking for perlite for repotting, transplanting or making a swamp container? We offer 100% natural perlite in 12 litre bags. Our Perlite keeps the soil airy, which is perfect for carnivorous plants. The contents of the bag are 12 litres.
Tip: Combine our perlite with blond peat.
Perlite for carnivorous plants: Carnivorous plants generally live on acidic, nutrient-poor soils. With this soil, it is advisable to use perlite, which keeps the soil airy for the plants. When mixing soil for carnivorous plants, keep a ratio of 1:1. With Sarracenia (trumpet cup plants), a ratio with more blond peat is ever ideal (e.g. 70% blond peat and 30% perlite).
