Description Sundew mix (Drosera)
Are you a fan of sundews (Drosera's)? Then this beautiful mix is for you! Sundews are quite unique plants with drop-covered leaves. The leaves of Drosera are covered with nectar droplets that look like morning dew, hence the name 'Sundew'. The nectar on the leaves is irresistible to insects. An insect will therefore start eating the nectar, but as soon as the insect moves, it will stick to the nectar drops. Once stuck to the drops, there is no escape. The sundew will then wrap its leaf around the insect, in order to digest it.
Unique eye-catchers in the home: Drosera's are, partly due to their unique and peculiar properties, very impressive and fun plants to have in the home. The nectar on the leaves will remain all year round, as they are tropical plants. With this 'Sundew mix' you get the three most beautiful and popular Sundews in the house. The mix consists of:
