Description Pinguicula "Weser" large - pot size 12
The Fatleaf (Pinguicula "Weser"): The Fatleaf is an 'innocent-looking' plant, but belongs to the carnivorous plant family. The Fatleaf has large 'fatty' leaves and a pretty purple flower. This cute species, like most carnivorous plant, uses its leaves to attract insects. There are small sticky droplets on the leaves, to which the insect remains attached unable to escape. The Fat Leaf is tremendous fun to have in your home and is perfect for natural control of smaller insects, such as mosquitoes, gnats and fruit flies.
Pinguicula "Weser" is a cross between Pinguicula Moranensis and Pinguicula Ehlersiae. With a lot of sunlight, the leaves can turn 'light pink'.
