Description Sundew (Drosera Adelae)
Sundew (Drosera Adelae): got its distinct name because of its unique appearance. This species has sword-shaped leaves with sticky droplets. These nectar droplets look (in the sun) like sundew drops; hence the name 'Sundew'. Drosera's droplets attract insects, causing them to try to take a bite/sip, but stick to the droplets. Once stuck to the droplets, the insects fail to break free. Then the leaf rolls around the insect and enzymes in the droplets will digest the insect and move the nutrients to the plant.
This species is found in Australia (a very small patch of rainforest) and can be propagated very easily. Thus, this species reproduces easily by expanding roots.
IMPORTANT: be quick; as we have a limited stock of this species.
