The pitcher plant (Nepenthes Alata): This small pitcher plant has beautiful, large red/green cups. The Nepenthes Alata attracts insects with her beautiful pitchers. The pitchers contain a deliciously sweet liquid that lures insects. The pitchers contain a liquid with enzymes that then digest insects. The pitcher plant is a fairly rare carnivorous plant and originates from the jungles of Borneo.
