We at Carnivory.eu respect your privacy, but in order for the whole process to run smoothly, I sometimes need your personal details. Your data will be protected at all times, this privacy statement explains how I do that. Matters such as what your details are used for and how they are stored, processed and protected are covered in this statement. I act in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG).

Personal data

To be able to offer our website and services, some personal data is collected. The term personal data means the data that can identify you as a person.

Log-in data

On www.carnivory.eu it is necessary for you to create an account. When creating the account, the following data are stored: your first and last name, address details, billing address, e-mail address, telephone number, order history, delivery time and your password. This data is necessary to be able to deliver the meat.

Orders

For orders, we need the following information: your name, address details, telephone number, e-mail address and your payment details. These details will be stored, registered and processed in order to ensure that the order proceeds smoothly. The address information will be provided to PostNL, so that the order can be delivered to the correct address.

Newsletter

For the time being, no newsletters are offered. However, it is possible that a newsletter will be offered in the future. Through the newsletter it is possible for you as a customer to be informed about offers, nice news and any actions. When the newsletters are offered, the information on consent will be explained in more detail.

One possibility would be to use an opt-in system to give permission and to be able to unsubscribe at any time.

Social Media

If you use the social media functions on the website, it is possible that the social media company sends you information. Examples of such information include your name, gender, friends list, profile picture and any other information. If you do not want this, it is recommended that you adjust the privacy settings on your Social Media account.

Simply because there is a share button on the website, the browser can send certain information to the relevant social media company. Unfortunately, I have no control over the data that may be sent.

How is the data protected?

As already mentioned in the first line, Carnivory.eu respects your privacy. The proper security of your data is entirely in line with this. I do everything in my power to protect your personal data from being used, changed or spread. The following measures are taken to protect this data:

Carnivory.eu will not retain your personal data any longer than is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:

At the moment the customer places another order, the retention period of 7 years applies again.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Carnivory.eu will not sell your data to third parties and will only provide them if necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to meet a statutory obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Examples of processors are: logistics partner (PostNL) and the payment provider. The data is then processed, such as planning routes or processing a payment.

Possible backlinks

On the websites or social media account it is possible that there is a link to another website. Carnivory.eu is not responsible for the content or the privacy statement of these websites. To be sure that your privacy is also guaranteed by them, it is advisable to read the privacy statement of the website concerned.

Modification of privacy statement

I may amend this privacy statement. If the change is so significant, a notification will be displayed. In addition, an e-mail will be sent to the users of the websites. If your e-mail address is not registered, it is recommended that you read the privacy statement at regular intervals.

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website and/or service does not have the intention to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. Unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data being collected on children without parental permission.
